File a Claim

Auto Claim

Contact the police as soon as the accident occurs.

Record the following information before leaving the scene:

• Names & contact information of all parties involved.
• Insurance company & policy number of all parties involved.
• Make, model, colour and license plate of all vehicles involved.
• Name of officer responding and a report number, if available.
• Record the names and contact information of any witnesses.

Property Claim

Being prepared makes it easier to deal with property claims, including fire, theft, and flood events. Keep an inventory of your personal property, including serial numbers and approximate value of items if applicable, which will help to determine the value of your loss.

• Contact local authorities (police or fire services) if required.
• If possible, take steps to prevent further damage from occurring.
• If possible, take photos or a video of the scene to help with the assessment.
• Do not discard or take steps to repair damaged property without approval from your insurance representative.
